You will be part of Robotics in Västerås. We develop, manufacture and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees who are located in Västerås and Gothenburg. More than 90 percent of our production is exported and all the major automotive manufacturers are among our customers. The automotive industry and their subcontractors, as well as other industries such as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation. Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging, and assembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robot systems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding system integrators and OEM companies and these are the firms we call our business partners.

As Manager within Sourcing and Supply Chain Projects, you will lead a team of 16 coworkers and have the overarching responsibility for sourcing activities and strategies as well as suppliers? performances within quality, cost, delivery and innovation.

This will among other things involve:
• Supply base management
• Implementing processes and systems to achieve best company value
• Achieving cost, quality and delivery targets
• Coordinating supply chain optimization activities
• Identifying change opportunities
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies

Operating at the center of events, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, play a vital part in our growth and create a great foundation for further development.

Requirements
You hold a Master?s degree along with several years? experience from supply chain management and/or sourcing, preferably within the Automotive industry. Equally important are your leadership skills, experience from change management and knowledge of Excel, SAP and other MS Office tools. Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike. Other qualifying qualities are an academic degree or other related certificates in sourcing/supply chain management.

Your personal attributes are vital for success. As Manager within Sourcing and Projects, you need to be result-oriented, self-disciplined and a problem-solver. It is also important that you have the ability to champion desired changes, manage collective missions and create great team-spirit and engagement. Not to mention the fact that you manage complicated situations with ease and have a global mindset.
