We are now looking for a new member to our Network Planning team. As Manager Network Planning Development you will be responsible for developing our integrated planning process, optimizing SAS resource utilization improving SAS profits. Ensure access to relevant and up to date information about SAS production volumes for all stakeholders, both short and long term, to improve company-wide planning capabilities. You will also be responsible for follow-up and analysis of all relevant KPIs related to SAS traffic program and integrated planning process, from forecasting all the way up to execution. The position entails a wide array of interfaces and stakeholder interaction, such as Crew Planning, Asset management, Tech Planning, Ground, Flight Operations etc. Great opportunities for building relationships widely within SAS and to grow as a future leader.
Main responsibilities
• Further develop KPI structures and reporting; secure continuous follow-up and analysis of SAS traffic program, production strategies, and resources optimization
• Develop, setup and manage production information site to secure efficient information flow to/from all stakeholders, including long term fleet and production plan (3 year), production forecast vs plan (current year) and production KPIs and volume parameters for planning and follow-up
• Engage with key stakeholders, including Fleet, Tech, Crew, Ground, and External production to identify opportunities for improved planning and utilization of resources
• Responsible for follow up of productivity, robustness and TPE fulfillment within Network Planning
• Perform deep dive analyses of traffic program and effectiveness, draw conclusions and generate ideas
• Analyze potentials to improve utilization of resources, mainly in relation to traffic program process
• Develop decision and support tools/reporting related to traffic program for management in Network and Plan to Execution Value Stream
• Active role in SAS Lean strategy for company-wide planning, through go and see and value stream boards
• Support to VSO (value stream owner) for Plan to Execution in developing meeting forums/visualization, preparation of data
• Propose integrated planning strategies to increase efficiency and improve profitability

• Strong analytical capability
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and present findings in a clear conclusive manner
• Very strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, both Scandinavian/English
• Able to successfully collaborate and interact on all levels in the organization
