Description
We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual who is ready to join the Infrastructure Journey and lead the Network and Communication Services team with co-operation of external and internal service providers. To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills that is able to work in a future oriented, fast paced and demanding environment.Goal is to drive standardization and improve end - user productivity. You will be working closely with other IT teams to develop Network and Communication services with measurable targets. In this position you report to Head of the Infrastructure and End User support unit and are member of the management team.
• The specific areas of focus include leadership and management of a team responsible for network design,
LAN and WAN connectivity, network management, definition and coordination of standards, technology research, and applicable documentation.
• Organize and develop sustainable and scalable network offering with E-2-E monitoring capabilities on Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) including WLAN management.
• Maintaining and monitoring remote connection possibilities to both internal and external user groups in easy and safe manner
• Organize and ensure communication services possibility to communicate with each other in real-time - anytime and anywhere
• Deliver streamlined voice and video services through modern technologies
• Coordinate/Monitor operational SLA/OLAs with suppliers
• Ensure coordination and cooperation with all service stakeholders, including other IT teams, suppliers and partners as well as with business/customers
• Bring in new ideas for improving your service for users
• Reporting on Service performance and other metrics and KPIs
• Budget and cost follow-up as well as other administrative tasks
• Lead the team of Network and communication experts in multiple locations
Qualifications and Experience
• Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in information technology or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of experience with network and infrastructure technologies
• Experience in process improvement in a complex environment with a diverse stakeholder population
• Proven experience in building consensus and managing stakeholders to continuously improve delivery of services
• Familiarity with balancing cross-functional initiatives and the ability to communicate in all layers of the organization
• Proven experience in working with international vendors and contracts
• Proven successful experience on acting and/or change / transformation projects related network, telephony, messaging and/or video services
• Excellent leadership capabilities (lead other leaders, manage and motivate both employees and consultants in both daily
works as well as in change)
• Working abroad (6 month+)
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement in IT
• Speaks & writes English well. Uses English on a daily basis.
