What you'll do
In this role you will be a part in leading the IT B2B Tribe, which is a setup of squads developing and operating IT applications for our B2B operations in a full agile and cross-functional environment. IT B2B plays a vital role in Telenor's transformation journey with involvement in several ongoing transformation initiatives. The IT B2B squads manage applications across the stack: from customer facing B2B web portals to BSS/OSS backend.
We work structurally with continuous improvements while continuing to further explore an agile mindset and methodologies. How to increase value-adding outcomes, improve flow as well as quality and at the same time ensure team health and happiness are areas where we have clear ambitions and focus in each squad as well as on tribe level.
In this role, you'll be responsible for 2-3 agile squads (approx. 30 co-workers totally): a mix of employees and consultants, where most of them are co-located in our Karlskrona-office, but also on other locations i.e. India. Your squads focus is primarily network facing applications as well as common platforms used across teams in the IT B2B Tribe. The squads are involved in and supports many different streams and programs within our B2B as well as B2C business.
You'll work closely with the different IT B2B squads, Product Owners and Agile Team Leads (we use POTLAC) to create the best conditions possible for each team. You will have budget and personnel responsibility.
Who are you
We are looking for someone who wants to shape the agenda for our IT B2B applications and play a key role in our transformation journey. In order to succeed, we believe you need to have:
* Experience working as a manager and servant leader from software development, preferably in a DevOps or DevSecOps setup
* Solid experience from working in different agile contexts
* Preferably experience from AM such as monitoring, incident processing, crisis management and on-call setups
* Preferably experience from insourcing and on-shoring
To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate about people, have strong communication skills, and possess strong abilities in servant leadership: developing and forming solid teams as well as having the ability to drive a shift from re-actively accepting requirements to actively engage in the squad mission. Further, you're business driven, take pride in challenging the status quo and are skilled in change management practices.
