hela Sverige As Manager of Field Operations you will have a challenging and varying role at the center of events. Your main focus will be to support and supervise a skilled team of service engineers and service technicians, where the majority has assignments on our sites with locations all over the world. International travels will therefore also be a part of your job. Furthermore, you will be responsible to develop our processes, routines and the competencies and skills of your team. A strong focus on HSE is a natural basis for all activities within the department, where you will ensure people and equipment safety. You will cooperate with the site management as well as with your local service unit to ensure that the customer requirements are fulfilled.
Main working tasks will be:
• Overall responsibility for personnel, budgets, recruitments etc. within Field Operations
• Develop and follow-up the department and personnel towards goals as set-up within Field Operations.
• Ensure that ABB's strict policies regarding integrity and compliance are respected.
• Establish, further develop and document routines and processes within Field Operations
• Be prepared to travel internationally to negotiate and handle crucial issues on site as needed.
You are reliable, confident, driven and have strong decision-making skills. You have a pragmatic mind-set and good problem solving abilities. With your organizing and prioritizing skills, you know how to reach set goals. In addition, you are able to create the right atmosphere and conditions for your team to grow as individuals and inspire them to great performance. You also have an ability to combine the need for efficiency and business orientation with caring for your employees.
As a foundation, you hold an engineering degree, and have previous management experience. If you have experience from service, after-market, transformers or similar businesses it is a plus. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.

We are a skilled team of 20 persons and we perform advanced services to industries, utilities and OEMs around the world. We also support our customers in optimizing their transformer fleet by mitigating risks for malfunction, improving performance and ensuring expected life.
