Customized Bioprocess solution (CBS) is an organisation within Life Sciences Biotechnologies delivering customized bioprocess hardware, where each customer order becomes a project with resources from project management, lead system design, detailed design, manufacturing transfer, sourcing and verification. CBS is now looking for a Project Office Manager. In this role you will report to the Uppsala CBS leader and is a member within the CBS leadership team.
Essential Responsibilities
As a Project Office Manager you will be responsible for all customer projects via coaching our project managers delivering the newly formed geographical programs. Key focus areas are lead times, delivery precision, cost control. forecasting, process rigor, customer documentation and to maintain and develop internal cross functional interfaces. The expectation is to lead/participate in an international network within the LS modality/commercial team to align demand and capacity between sales and manufacturing. You will be managing a team size of approximately 15 people.
Key responsibilities:
• coaching project managers delivering customer orders
• manning of project managers to specific projects within programs
• set a long and short term plan for the programs (cluster of projects)
• staff leadership including ensuring competence, resources and EHS.
• ensuring quality of work performed via the team
• developing tools and processes

• M.Sc degree with relevant technical area knowledge
• Proven leadership experience, from team leadership or other senior roles.
• Personal leadership skills aligned with GE values
• Experience working with external customer contacts
• English as working language
Desired Characteristics
• Engineering or application experience from large scale equipment's or biopharma industry.
• Ability to work both operational and strategic
• Strong communication skills
• Portfolio management or Life cycle management.
• P&L financial understanding
