Description

In the position as Manager Business Development you will drive and manage the business development needs in Tetra Pak Nordics in close collaboration with our Sales and Marketing Team. You will have direct contact with potential customers, addressing growth opportunities based on our growth plans and portfolio development. The role may also have account responsibility if there is a need to develop the relationship further.

Tetra Pak Nordics is a market company and is responsible for sales in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.

You should expect to travel approx. 30% per year.

Main responsibilities
• Map pertinent food industry and identify business opportunities.
• Contact prospects and develop understanding of customer needs
• Develop a strategy to approach the business in a new way
• Build the business development plan
• Value Selling - Drive execution of sales target for packaging solutions. Establish volume and profitability targets for new business
• Attend specific trade shows and exhibitions to develop networks and awareness about new products and new segments

Qualifications

We believe that you have a strong personal drive for results in combination with the ability to build networks and relationships with other people. As you will be working in partnership with many key stake holders externally as well as internally you will need to possess a high level of collaboration, engagement and leadership skills. You are agile in your approach, have an ability to sell your ideas to others and your communication skills are excellent. For this position you need to have a solid business understanding and a good understanding of technical solutions.

We believe you have a Master degree in Business Administration or Engineering in combination with 3-5 years of commercial experience. To be able to succeed in this position you have experience from the food industry and from grocery retail. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
