Azelio is currently in an extensive expansion phase, finding new partners and establishing presence all over of the World.
Therefore, we need to strengthen the Azelio Supply Chain Management team with motivated and talented people.
Today, we are approximately 13 people located in Gothenburg and Åmål and plan to grow further. We are responsible for Procurement, Supplier Quality, Planning, and Logistics, and support our product development, product industrialization and company infrastructure.
The Logistic Specialist is responsible for all material flows; inbound from supplier to Azelio plants as well as outbound delivering our products to our customers. The Logistic Specialist will initially support Site Installation Projects of our Demonstration and Product Verification Units; and simultaneously support the development of a transport/warehouse strategy that will be implemented when Azelio enters the Product Industrialization phase in 2021.
This an important role with several cross-functional interfaces to the installation site teams and the logistics teams of the Azelio plants in Uddevalla and Åmål.
Your position
- Monitoring the transport market, tendering, negotiation, concluding contracts and management of projects in Logistic
- Work actively to find modern transport solutions with focus on customer development and business efficiency
- Establish a network of external logistic partners
- Plan and follow-up deliveries
- Make ERP transport documentation
- Perform operational tasks such as clarification of daily issues with deliveries and document preparation
- Support the development and implementation of a Supply Chain Strategy for material flows (transport, external warehousing, etc.) from our suppliers to our manufacturing plants and further towards installation sites often located in remote areas all over the world
- Drive logistic requirements to our suppliers together with the procurement team
- Process Expert and responsible for the control and follow-up of logistics KPIs
Your profile
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in negotiating and managing transportation-, warehousing- and other external logistics service contracts in an international environment
- Knowledge of the transportation market to Africa and the Middle East is a benefit
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude
- Committed, self-starting, taking responsibility
- Good computer skills including MS Office; experience in Monitor is a benefit
- Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
This position is placed in Gothenburg. This role is very challenging as it requires to build up a new function within a short time frame, and then to transition it into serial production. Accordingly, also the scope and focus of the Logits Specialist role may change with time.
