Description
Tetra Pak Packaging Material Sunne AB manufactures fiber based packaging material for Tetra Pak's filling machine system Tetra Rex. The production is divided into three main processes; lamination, printing, and side sealing. We work with constant improvement in accordance with the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) concept. We are about 300 employees of which 45 people work at our unit in Skoghall.
As Logistics Manager you will be working with warehouse management, shipping and logistics management, material reception and internal material flow management. You will be a member of the Supply Chain Pillar and be responsible for the KPI:s connected to the position. Your team consists of 19 people with different skills, and together with them one of your main challanges will be to continue working with change management and improvements of both your own area as well as supporting the surrounding functions.
This position is based in Sunne, Värmland.
Main responsibilities
• Work and staff management within the department which means human resource planning, employment proceedings, competence development, conducting briefings and rehabilitation activities
• To operate and support the improvement of the WCM methodology such as the Operator's and Office maintenance teams, pillar work, analysis of deviations and improvement teams
• Together with the Supply Chain Manager be responsible for the department's investment and expense budget and set / follow up on goals
• Make sure that set standards, rules and procedures are followed
• Responsibility for the work environment in the section (including that of contractors)
• Be responsible that storage systems are updated with relevant baseline data
• Responsibility for all forklift trucks in the warehouse and ordering of service
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have the ability to lead, motivate and encourage the employees. Another important skill is the ability to promote cooperation with other departments and to find possibilities to drive improvements supported by the WCM methodology.
We believe you have an academic degree in supply
chain and at least 5 years working experience where the main part lies in leading a group of people within a supply chain or manufacturing department. Previous experience in improvement work is mandatory.
Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP are a plus and we require an excellent command of written
and spoken Swedish and English.
