This job offers you a perfect opportunity as a lawyer in the earlier stages of your career to move into or continue with an in-house role. In your role as Legal Advisor you will have the opportunity to participate in and develop in a broad range of legal tasks in a global environment. Your main focus will be to support our organization with contractual and commercial legal tasks. In addition, you will perform internal training, compliance management, document control, and assist various departments with their diverse legal needs, including the IP Manager and executive management team.
You will report to the Legal Manager.
Your responsibilities
• Review, draft, amend and negotiate a range of commercial contracts
• Provide contract management services to internal clients
• Provide internal legal training
• Measure and monitor manage legal and compliance risks in the activities of the business
• Assist with the set up and operation of various corporate structures including joint ventures and new subsidiaries
• Support various internal departments by resolving legal issues as they arise
• Assist the IP manager with IP and competition law issues
• Develop and efficiently use global network of legal support service providers
• Assist with litigation and commercial settlements
• Manage legal documents
The successful candidate will have the following profile
Education & Job experiences
• Bachelor or Master of laws
• Minimum 2 years' prior experience in a commercial legal environment, either at a law firm or in-house
Personal skills
• Able to reduce complex legal issues to simple form and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Focused on practical and commercially sensible solutions
• Keen sense of legal ethics
• Collaborative and team oriented approach to work
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude
• Excellent spoken and written English and Swedish
