hela Sverige We are looking for a driven Six Sigma Master Black Belt to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in contributing to building one of the first large-scale European battery factories by utilizing Six Sigma methodology and process specialist knowledge to increase the quality level, performance, and reliability of processes and product in manufacturing, and contribute to the Predictive Quality model.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop and own the Northvolt Six Sigma methodology and toolbox.
• Utilize and roll out Northvolt Six Sigma methodology and toolbox to Northvolt Ett
• Upskill the Northvolt Ett organization as relevant in six sigma application
• Mentor staff at various positions, e.g. green belts, process quality, and sponsors in their application of Lean and Six Sigma tools, techniques, and principles.
• Optimize and control processes to reduce or remove process steps and excel at predictive quality
• Lead task force urgent problem-solving teams, lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities
• Lead and consult complex black belt improvement projects and cross-functional teams
• Drive elimination of variability and achieve high process capability, reliability, and robustness
• Utilize advanced traceability data to drive improved quality performance
• Work closely with Digitalization to leverage advanced data models for predictive quality performance
• Ensure Capability development in 8D and Six Sigma methodology, including delivering training and checking skill levels continuously
• Contribute to Production System implementation together with Production Management
• Take part and advice in developing PFMEA's
• Collaborate closely with Production Management to ensure effective Quality Performance. Improvement portfolio is executed with a successful outcome
Education/Experience requirements :
• MSc degree in Chemistry/Manufacturing/Engineering
• Education in relevant quality and industrialization discipline
• Experienced in complex problem-solving and process optimization, skilled in DoE, multivariate data analysis, MSA, DMAIC etc
• Knowledgeable of appropriate statistical software, e.g. MiniTab, Modde/Simca, Python, MatLab
• Certified lean six sigma black belt
• Knowledgeable in statistics and multivariate data analysis
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in high-volume assembly/production
• Experience in quality management in a relevant industry, e.g. battery, automotive, pharma, food, pulp & paper, FMCG
• Knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM
• Knowledge of battery cell manufacturing processes
• Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement/six sigma projects in manufacturing and/or with suppliers
• Expert in Lean, six sigma, 8D, and Quality troubleshooting tools
