hela Sverige Connected Vehicle Technologies (CVT) refers to the development and deployment of a fully connected vehicle and transportation system that addresses increased need for fuel efficiency, uptime, safety and mobility. Connectivity is a key enabler for providing advanced services for vehicle and fleet management, uptime services and advanced transport solutions for benefits of our customers. The common name for this area is called Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) which include telematics and all types of communications in vehicles, between vehicles (e.g. vehicle-to-vehicle), and between vehicles and fixed locations (e.g. vehicle-to-infrastructure). ITS based services are expected to deliver many benefits including reducing congestion, increasing capacity and improving safety. Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Map technologies have a significant potential in the development of ITS and Automation (automated driving and operation).
CVT is a global R&D group within GTT/Advanced Technology & Research, established to secure the development of new services and solutions based on connectivity, map and positioning technologies. We are mainly working within Technology Development stream with close cooperation with Product Development stream. We have extensive experience delivering innovative solutions and our engineers deliver state of the art vehicle communication capabilities for increased safety, efficiency and mobility.
We are now looking for a lead engineer to address the increased need for strengthen of competency within Connected Vehicle Technologies.
Job Description
You will work in a team responsible for development of new systems and technology. Our mission is to deliver world class software products in the area of vehicle connectivity, map and positioning.
You can look forward to an individual and inspiring position together with many enthusiastic and professional colleagues. You will in this role drive and participate in various research and advanced engineering projects to improve existing and/or create new technologies.
Minimum Years of Experience Required
• To be successful we believe You need minimum five years of experience in development/integration of embedded real-time software
Minimum Education Required
• M.Sc. in communication, software and/or computer engineering
