Ikano Bank is looking to strengthen and transform their architectural landscape and we are therefore looking for several lead architects. Ikano Bank faces a unique and extremely exciting challenge where they in a short period of time are transforming themselves from many smaller banks and IT environments to a single one. This means that the financial elements that are so critical for a bank will have to be based upon a common architectural platform with integrated processes and a high level of compliance.
The Lead Information Architect is a key player who's work will set the base for the future information landscape within the bank. You will be given a unique opportunity to work with major changes in a rapidly growing bank, where you are expected to take a major responsibility in both the short and long term. You will be able to affect your future role and you will be a permanent member of the Design Authority board. We expect that you will eventually be the hub of the organization in which you along with appropriate stakeholders within IT and business take ultimate responsibility in how information architecture can help the organization towards becoming a full-scale data driven bank.
Your future role
In your role as lead architect you will be working in close collaboration with all lead architects together with Head of Enterprise Architecture, to ensure enterprise view and definition of common/aligned transformation roadmaps. Your qualifications
We see that you have a BSc or MSc in IT, Engineering or informatics. You have a documented architect background and proven skills from working with Information Architecture and an architectural framework, e.g. TOGAF. Knowledge and experience from the financial sector is mandatory. Documentation is in English and internal and external contacts will be international - therefore you must be able to master English fluently.
• Proven skills working with Information Architecture processes and development methods
• Knowledge in business information models and banking industry frameworks
• Knowledge in SOA architecture
• Knowledge in API Mgmt, ESB and ETL platforms
Who are you?
You are a person who knows how to translate business needs and requirements into technical and architectural terms. A key competence is the ability to understand the importance of being part of a much larger whole - and a awareness and handling of cultural differences! Since your within Ikano Bank we will highly value your personal characteristics, where communication, documentation skills and personal drive will be valued highly. You show both courage and creativity - because you demand great results!
You are self-motivated, but you also function well in a team. You are structured and analytical with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results not only with accuracy but also with courage and creativity.
