Position description:
At Supportive Safety working with Parking Assistance we are responsible for delivering a great customer experience for safe and accurate in manual and semi-automatic parking. We lead the development of a complete integration of Ultrasonic based parking systems into the vehicle balanced to project requirements.
As a Lead Engineer, you will be the leading authority for the technical development and progress of the product. You will report to the System Program Leader. Work will be performed in a cross functional team consisting of competences represented from suppliers, product engineering, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, attribute leaders such as cost engineering among others. Your task is to lead and follow up this team to secure time, technical solutions and cost.
Main responsibilities
• Plan project and follow up task execution for the team
• Drive the supplier, communicate to stakeholdes and handle deviations
• Balance the product from a technical, cost and time perspective
Skills and required experience:
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. or a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering
• Experience from automotive engineering
• Knowledge about the complete chain of automotive engineering and industrialisation
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Drivers licence B
• Experience from other Lead Engineer or similar positions is meritorious
• Knowledge in project development processes and administrative systems is an advantage
