As Lead Engineer Plant Design EVAPS, you are responsible for the Plant Design discipline (piping and layout) in our projects to ensure that the budget and time schedule for the discipline are met.
You also participate in Sales Projects with technical support to the Sales Organisation.
This involves the following tasks:
• Lead the work within the Plant Design discipline in a project.
• Follow the progress, time schedule and engineered quantities and report these to the Project Manager.
• Produce specifications for purchasing of components (piping material, valves etc).
• Produce technical documents for inquiries and contracts for construction works.
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers.
• Participate in the supervision and follow up of contractors work at sites.
• Support the Sales Organization with technical documents for cost calculations.
• Produce layouts and do detailed design if required (normally done by Design Engineers).
• Support and review detailed design performed by Metsos offices in other countries when applicable.
Competence profile:
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent acquired competence.
• Experience from piping and layout work in industrial plants.
• Knowledge and experience of AutoCad and PDMS, and preferably CAE-pipe.
• Leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both in writing and verbally. Other language skills is an advantage.
• Experience of PC (MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
