We are now looking for a colleague to join our R&D division, to work with development of medical devices. Besides development, this team also works with product changes and all documentation related to these activities. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will work primarily with the Sorbact assortment (advanced wound care products).
You will plan, implement and report tests and the work involves both routine analyses and method development and validation work. You will work primarily with microbiological techniques, but also with methods evaluating material characteristics.
Examples of methods:
Bacterial culture
ATP measurements
Fluorescence microscopy
Contact angle
Fluid handling characteristics
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform laboratory maintenance, e.g. calibration
* Perform routine analysis
* Take part in product development projects
* Maintain existing product documentation
* Support design verification activities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Licensed Biomedical Analyst or corresponding exam
* Good laboratory skills.
* Documented experience from medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience in GLP documentation.
* Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
* We are a relatively small team and it is therefore important that you are a team player with a can-do attitude.

Employment conditions
• Permanent full time employment based in Askim, Gothenburg
• Ordinary working hours, daytime Mon-Fri
