In Polarica there is a positive "turn around" -process going on and the structure of the organization for the future has been clarified. We are recruiting a Quality Specialist to be responsible for the implementing quality processes for Rovaniemi and Haparanda sites.
Quality Assurance Specialist
Polarica is seeking for a Quality assurance Specialist to be responsible for the Rovaniemi and Haparanda quality processes. The Quality assurance Specialist will report to the Quality and CSR manager. The potential person has solid experience in quality processes and tasks within food industry.
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for implement of Rovaniemi and Haparanda production quality processes
• Ensure and improve agreed production quality action and follow-up together with organization
• Responsible for agreed internal and external audits processes and practicalities
• Responsible for reclamation process and reporting to Quality manager
• Create and deliver quality reports for company and customer needs
• Interacts with middle management, employees, customers, and suppliers
• Co-operates with product development.
• Is part of HACCP group
Desired profile of the candidate
Education and experience:
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (Biotechnology and food engineering or chemistry)
• Previous work experience of Quality tasks within food industry
• Experience or knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22 000 and BRC standards
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working in an international environment is a plus

• Goal focused and persistent
• A practical approach to work
Language skills:
• Fluency in English, Swedish and Finnish.
Location: Haparanda or Rovaniemi.
