Just outside Malmö you find a leading paint company with a focus on innovation and sustainability. One of the Nordic region's largest sites where we develop, manufacture, market and sell paint for indoor and outdoor environments for consumers, customers and industry. The business mainly consists of two companies. Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings, a leader in the sale and manufacture of paints and coatings for industrial surface treatment for wood products such as windows, doors, floors, and furniture. Some of the customers are IKEA, Montana, Inwido and Tarkett. The other company Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells paints, varnishes, putty and wood protection products to professional painters and consumers. The portfolio includes the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin and Cuprinol. At the site, 560 proud employees work to meet our customers' needs for high-quality products and services.

What will you do?
As Key Account Manager, you will play a central role in driving our regional sales strategy and building strong, long-term relationships with key AkzoNobel accounts. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure our customers receive the best possible support, while continuously exploring new ways to strengthen our market position. Your work will directly impact business growth and customer satisfaction across the Nordic region.
Lead and execute sales strategies by rolling out tailored sales programs, negotiating contracts, and managing pricing and demand forecasts for your designated key accounts. You'll ensure our offerings are competitive and aligned with customer needs, while driving profitability and sustainable partnerships.
Collaborate across teams-including marketing, operations, finance, and technical service-to analyze market trends, plan promotional activities, and coordinate internal efforts. You'll act as the bridge between customer insights and strategic planning, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement.
Strengthen customer relationships through regular business reviews, proactive engagement, and effective problem-solving. You'll maintain close contact with the marketplace, communicate product benefits clearly, and ensure technical support meets the highest standards.
Monitor performance and market dynamics by conducting ongoing research, tracking key metrics, and engaging with stakeholders across the value chain. You'll keep customer data accurate and up to date, evaluate investment opportunities, and represent our brand at customer events-all while adhering to corporate policies and HSE standards.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a preferred start date in the beginning of January. You will report to the Sales Manager Nordics.

Who are you?
You're a strategic thinker with a passion for building strong, profitable relationships. You thrive in a dynamic sales environment and understand the complexity of regional and cross-regional decision-making. You're proactive, analytical, and confident in negotiating terms and driving business growth.
You collaborate effectively across departments and know how to turn customer needs into actionable plans. You're comfortable working with market insights, forecasting, and performance metrics, and you bring a professional, customer-focused mindset to everything you do. Above all, you're committed to delivering value, promoting our brand, and acting in line with corporate and HSE standards.
To succeed in the role we think you have:
A degree in Economics
Experience with B2B. Extra plus with experience in coatings.
Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required
