LeanNova is an engineering service company, situated in Trollhättan, Gothenburg and Shanghai, created by engineers from former Saab Automobile AB. Since the start in February 2012, the company has grown rapidly and today we employ more than 200 experienced engineers with an average OEM experience of more than 15 years. We specialise in complex assignments and offer our customers excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles.
Position description
We need to enhance the LeanNova Propulsion and Energy Management team with newly graduated engineers, with an interest in working with CAE methods for optimized Performance and Fuel Economy / CO2 optimization of vehicles and vehicle propulsion.
Our strength is our experience and knowledge in complete vehicle development using CAE as the main development tool. With models created in MATLAB/Simulink, you will analyze anything from conventional cars to large hybrid/electric industrial machines. Depending on the customer, you may also be involved in testing and other project work tasks related to Energy management.
Working experience from feature development, distributed and embedded control systems (Matlab / Simulink), vehicle communication, safety critical function development, model-based development and simulation technology is an advantage but not necessary, we prioritize willing to learn. The work tasks will be balanced within the team depending on skill level.
You will mainly be placed in our main office in Trollhättan or in our office in Gothenburg, but there are also possibilities to work on site at our customers in Sweden or abroad.
If you have a passion for combustion engine, electric motors and/or high voltage batteries development and data modelling, this might be the job for you!
Skills & Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Physics Engineering
• Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Good knowledge of engines, transmissions, electric motors, and batteries
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Driver?s license
