The Radio Network Controller (RNC) is the brain in a 3G radio network. The RNC connects the fixed telephony and data network to a large number of radio base stations and controls the radio cells and mobile handset activities within them. Our customer now faces the challenges of moving towards IP-based networks, introduction of mobile TV and continuously higher data bit rates. Our customer's verification activities ensure the maintainance of the product quality. For new graduates, this is a great opportunity to get an overall picture of the 3G system and develop competence in the latest mobile systems technology. Testing is undertaken using the latest test techniques and processes. Simulators developed in-house are used.
Job Description
You will support the test team and develop tools needed in the test unit to do test analyses, perform tests, evaluate test results and troubleshoot faults.
Profile
A Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in computer science / electric engineering, or equivalent academic qualifications
Excellent programming skills
Preferably experience with Java or C++, script language (Perl), Unix/Linux and WCDMA
An eager attitude to learn both on broad front as in depth
To be a quick learner as well as having an analytic nature
To be accurate with details
A personality that is keen to solve problems as they arise and do so creatively
To work well independently but also as team player who puts a lot of focus on achieving results on time and with high quality
