We are now looking for a Purchasing Lead to join JTI Sweden's headquarters in central Stockholm, located at the heart of the business and cultural district, with close proximity to public transportation.
As Purchasing Lead, you will be responsible for local supplier relations and related procurement / purchasing activities for JTI Sweden.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
* Review and approve all category plans and strategies
* Lead / supervise supplier bidding and negotiation processes in close cooperation with respective department to ensure best combination of quality, cost and service parameters / conditions for products and services are attained
* Review and approve the purchase orders related to Market local purchases
* Run in-depth analysis on key performance indicators while taking necessary actions for improvement areas
* Ensure compliance with the related corporate policy &procedures, the operating guidelines and code of conduct within Sweden Market purchasing process
* Ensure local Purchasing operations are in line with Global Purchasing strategy
* Locally lead and implement various PPO projects (global or regional), both system related projects as well as procurement projects
* You will lead the PPO team, with three (3) direct reports, You will report to the CFO
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years working experience of which 3 years within Purchasing and Procurement
* University degree, preferably within Economics or Finance
* Analytical experience in regard to purchasing is a strong merit
* Fluency in Swedish and English - verbal/written
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience of SAP is a strong merit
* A valid EU work permit
To succeed in this role you should be an analytical problem solver with excellent organizing and planning skills. You appreciate working in a role that expects you to be self-sufficient but also to cooperate well with both internal and external parties. You should be able to take a strategic view on purchasing activities, have an entrepreneurial and responsible personality, be able to drive projects and take your own initiative.
