Are you ready for an exciting and challenging role where you get the opportunity to influence the competitive edge of IT Services in H&M Stores? We are now looking for Senior Project Managers to one of H&M:s newest areas, Store Tools.
As a Project Manager at Store Tools you will have a very shifting work situation. You will lead exciting projects of different nature that includes many interfaces with our business, external suppliers and other IT stakeholders.
Store Tools is a new area within H&M that has expanded rapidly during 2015. Store Tools are responsible for all in store IT excluding Point of Sales and payment, for H&M and all our brands worldwide. The main service areas are Inspirational media, Store collaboration, Consumer Behaviour, Loss Prevention and Mobile Device. The solutions are procured from vendors as a service. Your solutions will be used by customers and store staff, globally every minute every day, the projects are innovative and fun. We are an area with many ongoing new initiatives and need to strengthen our core-team with project managers.
We need you as Project Manager to lead and secure the delivery of our projects. You are someone who has the ability to understand our business and complex environment as well as being an inspiring leader that brings motivation to your project team. In your role you will interact with many parties as well as work closely with our business and vendors. To be successful in your role, we see that you have very good communications skills with practice to conduct meetings and workshops. You are dedicated and have the ability to deliver in a fast and changing environment. A genuine interest and curiosity for leadership and project management.
Your responsibilities
The job of a H&M Project Manager comes with lots of responsibility ? and lots of fun.
Your to do-list includes:
• Lead projects in cooperation with suppliers
• Plan, organize, follow up and deliver according to plan including budget responsibility
• Work in close collaboration with business to capture their needs and requirements
• Participate in procurement and preparation of contracts
• Responsible for the whole project cycle, including follow up deliveries and hand over to maintenance
Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. You are humble, straightforward, secure in your leadership role and actively works with feedback.
And your skills include:
• Genuine interest and curiosity for leadership and project management
• At least 5 years of project manager experience within IT projects
• Experience from working in a global organization
• Experience from negotiation and procurement
• Experience from working with suppliers
• Great experience from working with steering groups
• Great theoretical and practical knowledge in PPS
• Experience from working with ITIL
• Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with people on different levels, strategic, operational and tactical level
• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Experience of retail is a plus
