hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Cobham Gaisler AB i Göteborg In your role as a IT systems administrator you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and improving our Linux and Windows workstations, shared servers, and network infrastructure. This means supporting and follow up on IT issues and proposing new approaches and services that would improve the daily work of your new colleagues. The responsibilities also include procurement of equipment, software, and external services.
Most of the services are standard services like web and IMAP servers, LDAP, Active Directory, NFS etc. and some of the services provided by the IT infrastructure are related to the technical work performed by the hardware and software design teams. Such services could for example be EDA tools, automated testing services built around Jenkins/Docker and specific toolchains at our build servers.
While the day-to-day work consists of managing the infrastructure located at the office in Göteborg, the work also entails conforming to company policies and collaboration with other parts of Cobham. As part of this, short durations of international travel may be required.
We are looking for candidates with at least two years of applicable hands-on experience within Unix/Linux and Windows server and workstation management. We require good verbal communication skills in English, a strong general interest in new IT technologies and a solution oriented mindset. Key assets:
• Installing, upgrading, monitoring, and automated management of Linux and Windows servers and workstations
• Hands-on experience with networking
