We are looking for an organized and service minded person who has a talent for technology. The IT Systems Administrator will maintain and administer computer networks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and fast recovery to emergency situations. You will be placed in Solna where you will work together with a junior colleague but you will be part of a global IT team and report to a manager in France. You will function as second line support for your colleague, who works in IT Service Desk, and also be responsible for the IT infrastructure in the Swedish office.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain local AD subdomain, file share structure and DFS environment
• Support local VMware environment, including deploying new virtual servers and troubleshoot existing servers (Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 server) and SAN together with support from senior international colleagues
• Install, maintain and upgrade physical servers
• Ensure local clients and servers are patched regularly and are compliant with security requirements
• Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot network together with the Network team in US
• Administer local IP telephony system (Cisco) and mobile phone subscriptions
• Recognize needs to purchase IT equipment to local office
• Review and maintain contracts with local suppliers
• Interact closely with the Business to understand technical needs and recognize future projects
• Back up the international IT team as needed by providing remote support

Required skills and experience

• 4-5 years related experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have strong technical and interpersonal skills and be able to interact with all levels of the business, including Executive level management
• Ability to manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and make quick decisions
• Flexible working hours is a must. Travel to other countries may be required
• Ability to remain calm and agile in times of stress

Desired Skills/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• Associates degree, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent certifications
• Experience with Cisco networks
• Additional language skills beneficial
