As System Administrator your responsibilities will include operational support, administration, and maintenance of Modelon's IT infrastructure. You will report to the IT Operations Manager. In your role, you will be working closely with your IT Operations colleagues, as well as application developers, customer support, test teams and with customers.
You will report to the IT Operations Manager.
What You Will Do
Setup and maintain Modelon's IT infrastructure.
Work with the team to continuously improve the operational environment.
Give advice on architecture and establish best practices with the entire organization.
Device management and supporting Modelon's employees.
Procurement and inventory management.
Share knowledge and provide internal training when required/needed.
What you will bring
Minimum three years of proven Linux system administration experience.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 services.
A keen interest in everything that makes up a fully functional IT infrastructure.
Security consciousness.
Service mindedness.
Fluent communication in English and an interest in technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
Meritorious if you have following
Familiarity with VMware vSphere.
Good understanding of network and firewall technologies.
Knowledge of storage, authentication, backup, monitoring, and related technologies.
Cloud operations.
Patch management.
Advocating IT best practices.
Self-motivated and ambitious.
