We're one of the world's oldest start-ups - and we're just getting started.
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we're shaping the future - and we want you to be part of it.

What we can offer you
Do you want to shape how advanced R&D development environments are delivered at Husqvarna Group? Are you motivated by complex technical services, security-critical environments, and close collaboration with development organizations? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of business needs, technology, and governance?
Then this could be the right role for you.

About the role
As Service Owner - R&D Workplace, you will take strategic and operational ownership of a specialized workplace service that supports R&D developers, CAD-users, test-rigs and other R&D departments with advanced technical requirements.
This service enables development work that cannot be performed using standard workplace services, such as embedded systems development, robotics, hardware integration, and laboratory environments. Your responsibility is to ensure the service is secure, compliant, standardized, and fit for purpose, while aligned with Husqvarna Group's long-term Workplace and security strategy.
You will own the full-service lifecycle - from design and roadmap to governance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder management - working closely with R&D, Information Security, Network teams, and external IT partners. You will be part of the End User Services organization and report to the Head of End User Services.

Key responsibilities
Own and develop the R&D Workplace service end-to-end
Define and maintain the service roadmap, ensuring alignment with Workplace, Security, and R&D strategies
Establish clear eligibility, approval, and lifecycle processes for different use cases within R&D
Govern OS baselines, compliance requirements, and security posture in collaboration with Information Security
Drive standardization while supporting complex and hardware-dependent R&D use cases
Act as the primary interface towards R&D stakeholders for this service
Coordinate with delivery teams and IT partners responsible for OS management and support
Ensure service documentation, service descriptions, and request flows are maintained
Monitor service performance, risks, and cost efficiency
Support the strategic transition towards VDI where technically feasible

About you
You are comfortable operating in complex technical environments and balancing innovation with governance. You build trust through clarity, structure, and collaboration, and you are able to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We believe you have:
Several years of experience in IT service ownership, service management, or product ownership
Experience working with developer environments, Linux platforms, or engineering/R&D IT
Strong understanding of endpoint management, security, and compliance concepts
Experience working in large, global organizations with multiple stakeholders
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
A structured and proactive way of working, with a continuous improvement mindset

Experience with areas such as Linux, virtual desktops, device management, network segmentation, or security-critical environments is considered a strong advantage.
