You will be a team member in IT Operations EMEA North and will be based in Trelleborg. North team is part of Trelleborg Information Systems Services AB which is "One Common Foundation" for the whole Trelleborg Group responsible for IT Infrastructure. We are optimizing, securing and consolidating to improve IT Infrastructure globally to be able to meet future IT demands and investments.
Duties and responsibilities
• Administration of infrastructure support services related tasks and activities by indentifying diagnoses and resolve incidents and issues for end-users and in our IT systems both within production units and in headquarters but also in other sites within the region.
• Implementation, installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure services with focus on availability, reliability and manageability following Trelleborg IT standard processes in coordination with responsible IT management.
• Contribution in project work either local or global common projects.
• Documentation in English for all problems, solutions, result of project work as well as any elaborated results within area of responsibility.
• Communicate to end users in a user friendly, professional manner.
• Manage end-user incidents and prioritize work based on defined SLAs.
• Deal with multiple users and prioritize services in line with business needs.
• Support of asset management processes following defined Trelleborg IT standards.
• Education of users based on Trelleborg processes to make optimal use of business systems.
• Contribute ideas to improve IT processes and services.
• Improvement of personal skills within the area of responsibility.
• Work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals.
Profile
• Combination of IT education, experience and certification will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within working with similar assignments.
• Experience of XP, Win 7, Server 2003/2008 R2, AD, SCCM, SQL, Cisco, Outlook.
• Analytical Skills; strong and flexible individual capable of dealing with the typical tensions that arise within an IT service environment; confident & customer focused with strong support commitment; good problem solving skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good social skills, ability to work and communicate with everyone within the daily business.
• Ability to manage own work schedule (good self-management skills), commited, ambitious and enterprising. Important is also to be able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to cooperate with other individuals with a problem solving oriented attitude on a professional level, specially in team North but also worldwide within Trelleborg.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English combined with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Keen interest in working in a culturally diversified fast-paced environment.
