hela Sverige Tooling IT is a production area within the Sandvik Group's Tooling business area and develops methods and IT solutions to support Sandvik Tooling in its efforts to develop the next generation of business systems. In order to meet the goals and requirements of the organization, Process CIOs, Enterprise Architects and project leaders work closely with the other functions of the business. We are currently looking for an IT Manager with responsibility for our Business Support with a primary focus on Information Management and BI solutions to be located in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As IT Manager your main responsibilities are:
• Staff development
• Tooling Information Management, which includes development of our Information Landscape, Processes, Governance, Guidelines and Methods. Essential tools are MDM and ARIS
• Tooling Information Warehouse, our BI solution; a global system for statistical information handling
• Cooperation with internal and external IT partners
The position provides extensive opportunities to learn about the organization and its processes.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a college degree in IT or the equivalent. At least five years' experience from IT work is required, and experience in information architecture/information management is advantageous. You should have experience in leading projects or from other responsible roles in a supervisory capacity, as well as working in an international environment.
As an individual, you are strong-willed, enthusiastic and driven, as well as capable of working independently at a more conceptual level. You have strong communicative and relationship-building skills, as the position requires frequent contact with individuals inside and outside of the company. This means you must have good English skills, both written and verbal.
