We are more than 300 employees at our site in Sege / Malmö and another 200 employees in our Nordsjö Idé &Design stores and regional offices around the country.
Within our Nordic IT Infrastructure we are looking for an IT Coordinator to support the Nordic region. Which includes, except the Swedish business described above, also sites and shops in the other Nordic countries. An environment with around 1000 users and computers to support.
As a key member of the regional IT function the holder will be responsible for the support of all in-scope provided services to Line of Business. The holder will work with regional colleagues, throughout Decorative Paints EMEA, across AkzoNobel and with managed external service providers to ensure maximum system availability, stability and performance.
The Decorative Paints EMEA Business Unit provides their users with a managed workplace solution (Unity and/or MWLS). As part of the wider DPEMEA IT Infrastructure team and working directly for the Nordics & Baltics IT Infrastructure Manager, the holder will be responsible for the monitoring of processes and procedures included in the services provided, allocation and tracking of non-Unity issues, Line of Business software support and all local IT related administrative tasks.
The holder will be required to work alongside engineers from external service providers to maintain the stability of all IT systems.
Activities will include (but are not limited to):
• Act as a point of contact and escalation for 'on-site' IT services
• Administration, categorization and processing of IT Service Requests (supporting role)
• Desktop/desk side support on Line of Business services and applications
• IT hardware stock maintenance and administration, including ordering and replenishment (supporting role)
• Provide support and assistance (Servicedesk) to our own shops on Line of Business hard- and software (lead role)
• Support for non-standard Line of Business hard- and software
• Troubleshooting & escalation of IT issues
• Work with external service providers to manage IT incidents against SLAs
• High school level or equivalent with good professional qualifications & experience
• Proven IT Support experience in a business environment
• Microsoft MCP/MCSE qualifications desirable
• Fluently in the Swedish and English language
• Understanding of the Danish and Norwegian language
