hela Sverige Sandvik IT Services is the Sandvik Group's internal company with responsibility for infrastructure, application development and system management in the IT area.
The department for architecture and technology is a unit in Sandviken consisting of senior enterprise architects supported by domain architects responsible for delimited areas of technical and solution enterprise architecture. We are responsible for planning, carrying out and following up work to define, review and consult on architectural choices that may have significant impact on Sandvik business profitability and overall technology lifecycles. We do this in support of and collaboration with our clients in Sandvik business areas, internal IT staff, and strategic IT partners. We are now looking for three Domain Architects, primarily in Network & Communications, Messaging & Collaboration and Database Engines.
Key performance areas
• As a Domain Architect you will focus on your delimited domain to:
• Translate high-level architectural guidance and plans into actionable rules and guidelines
• Support and guide solution architects towards efficient use of shared resources
• Obtain and interpret input from all domain stakeholders
• Create, maintain and communicate architectural guidance
• Review suggested designs and solutions; review new and changed services
• Keep up to date with evolving technologies, standards and methods.
• Provide input on risks and opportunities to tactical and strategic IT planning
Your profile
We would expect you to have a degree within computer or systems sciences. Alternatively, you may have the equivalent knowledge, acquired in some other way. Experience of working within the IT business and as a manager or informal leader is a plus.
As an individual you are outgoing and motivated and easily cooperate with others. You have an analytical and structured way of working, delight in absorbing new knowledge, and pedagogically adapt your communication to the needs of different target audiences. The position requires you to work independently and take a great deal of responsibility. You willingly share your knowledge and interact well with both clients and colleagues. The IT organization has frequent international contacts, which means you need to be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, in English, but also in Swedish.
