Your new role
The International Sales Professional Marine Fenders is responsible to develop new and existing business for the Central and Eastern Europe area, secure orders and effectively meet the sales and marketing objectives for Trelleborg Marine Infrastructure, ensuring the products meet market demands and customer requirements and complies with the strategic direction of the company. As ISP you'll report directly to the Regional Director EMSA.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Manage Tender and Sales Processes from lead to order including managing the design and project management teams to meet customer (technical) requirements and commercial conditions.
• Achieving Sales and Gross Profit targets for your responsible area
• Liaise with manufacturing and supplier factories, distributors and agents to ensure customer requirements and project timelines.
• Manage sales and marketing processes in accordance with the Trelleborg procedures and standards.
• Follow market developments and trends and translate these to business opportunities for Trelleborg Marine Systems.
What you need to succeed
As ISP you have international sales experience with capital goods and services within the Marine industry. You are a consultative sales professional with a cooperative team player mentality and know how to engage your internal teams such as Marketing, R&D, Legal, Manufacturing and Engineering. You are willing to travel international frequently.
- A bachelor or master degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical background based on equivalent work experience
• Relevant (Inter-)national Technical sales experience
• Fluent understanding of English and Russian. Knowledge of Polish and Swedish has a preference
• Strong personality, able to deal with people from various backgrounds and cultures
