Business Controller Vehicle Sales

Business Control is a global staff function within Volvo Trucks and is responsible for financial planning and performance management. Scope includes financial targets and estimates, monthly management reports, performance dialogues (BRM) as well as governance of financial policies and compliance. The function is also responsible for credit management including, credit governance, trade finance and supporting export financing activities.
Business Control consists of 5 functions: Controlling & Planning, Vehicle Sales Controlling, Aftermarket Controlling, Credit Management and Financial Policies & Compliance.
Vehicle Sales Controlling is responsible for supporting securing central functions in Vehicle Sales profitability analysis and data. The department also has a vital role in maintaining and developing existing tools as well as future tools for profitability and price follow-up.
Vehicle Sales Controlling is now searching for a trainee.
Tasks would include:
• Outlining and following an individual learning plan for acquiring a solid understanding for the Volvo Trucks business model with focus on Vehicle Sales (Including financial flows and related systems)
• Assist with controlling of the Volvo Trucks Vehicle Sales operation
• Support in Price follow-up and analysis
• Involvement in projects and individual assignments (HQ and in the field)
• Ad-hoc analysis
Travel
Willingness and capacity to travel required. Volume and destination tied to assignment and learning needs.

Overall requirements:
• Master of Science or Business Administration
• Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
• Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit)
• Maximum of two years previous work-experience prior to or after graduation
• International experience is meriting
Additional meriting skills/experience
Language skills are of advantage. Especially focus on European and Eastern European languages.
Experience of Truck or Transport industry (Including Retail Automotive Operations)
Education
1st choice: Master of Business Administration or similar
