Reporting to the Head of Group Internal Audit, you will provide strong leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the continued development of both people and deliverables in line with group standards. In addition, you will work to strengthen the collaboration and communication between Group Internal Audit and our Business Areas, helping us align efforts and achieve shared goals.

About the role
As the leader of the Group Internal Control Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Electrolux Control System (ECS) Program Management Office. You will proactively drive improvements in the methodology and execution of the ECS, the Group's internal control program for financial reporting, while ensuring effective collaboration with both our external auditors and key internal stakeholders.
To continuously improve the internal control environment at Electrolux, several key initiatives are already underway or planned. These include:
Enhancing SAP application controls and increasing control automation
Updating Segregation of Duties (SoD) matrices and related system tools
Improving testing methodologies and implementing a new GRC tool for ECS
Supporting the future SAP S4/Hana upgrade to improve the control environment, which may impact the current framework
Designing and implementing internal controls for sustainability reporting, in line with upcoming CSRD requirements

As the Internal Control Director, you will be responsible for driving and managing these initiatives, collaborating with both internal and external resources and experts to ensure their successful execution.
As a strong people leader, you will foster a highly motivated and competent team while driving continuous quality and efficiency improvements in internal control processes. You will also be responsible for preparing regular reports on ECS status, progress, and findings for the Audit Board and Audit Committee.
In collaboration with the rest of the Group Internal Audit management team, you will identify and implement ongoing improvements in internal audit and internal control processes, methodologies, and supporting functions within the department.

Qualifications:
Professional with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a multinational organization
Solid experience of working in internal/external auditing or internal control/Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) program management, for large/complex international companies
SAP and application controls expertise
Experience with controls rationalization and automation is an advantage
People leader with proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
Skilled business partner with strategic perspective and exceptional judgement.
Adept at managing stakeholders and leading through influencing
Strong communication skills
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is required.
