In this role you will be supporting the team in successfully implementing the Intelligence action plan and guiding the team in allocating the right resources to intelligence activities, setting the right priorities according to business needs and the IKEA year cycle. You will be leading a diverse range of Intelligence projects and you will support in finding the right ways to share knowledge and insights with internal and external stakeholders together with the Communication Business Partner and other relevant stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
• Willingness to be part of building new organisation and finding new ways of working with intelligence within IKEA, using your solid understanding of and deep interest in social and cultural trends and consumer behavior in global markets.
• Minimum of five years' demonstrated experience as main responsible Project Leader, preferably within IKEA of Sweden, IKEA or at least for international clients
• Knowledge and understanding of the IKEA value chain, the development process, and the prerequisites of Range & Supply, Inter IKEA Systems, and Retail organisations.
• Preferably university degree or working experience within research/consumer intelligence.
• A passion for and experience in communication projects with high strategic communication quality.
• Senior skills in process, planning, work method and budget management.
• Thrives on finding possibilities in a fast paced, high volume creation and production environment.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills and the ability to boil issues and ideas down to the relevant essentials that need to be communicated.
• You have a proven ability to form strong professional interdependent working relationships in and outside IKEA and you have proven, strong leadership capabilities and integrity with the ability to influence on all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Great understanding of the creative process and what it takes to deliver high level communication solutions.
