As Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Partner (HSSE Partner), you will lead, promote and influence the area of occupational safety, health, and environmental awareness throughout our Ports and Terminals in compliance with the HSSE policy. Ensuring that best practices are developed and maintained across our Ports and Terminals with the opportunity to identify proactive improvements and learning needs.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Influence all levels across the organization and drive and implement a Health & Safety plan as well as work for proactive Safety Culture across Port & Terminals
• Advice on and creating procedures for occupational health and safety, security, the environment, and quality control. Duties with respect to the environmental concern permits and waste streams.
- Carry out monthly safety reporting according to company standards and report the safety meeting with the management team of Ports and terminals
- Performing Ad-hoc safety inspections at all locations reporting findings, discussing corrective actions with managers following up on agreements made.
- To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents, record the findings and ensure compliance with findings.
- To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by the company or local practices or legislation.

Since this role includes traveling across our different ports and terminals you are someone who's flexible and able to travel when required.
Qualifications:
• Experience in Health, Safety (including International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code), Security, and Environment.
- Experience with ISO standards and audit techniques.
• Degree from upper secondary school.
- Driving license.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent e.g., NCRQ Applied Health & Safety is a plus but no requirement.
