This position will be responsible for implementing global performance and talent management programs and initiatives designed to increase organizational effectiveness. The position will be responsible for coordinating activities and programs together with the local HR Business partners, managers, leaders and employees. The role has a very strong relationship with the Human Resources Business Partners. It is important the individual has the ability to manage mid-to large scale global projects and initiatives. This position will drive our performance and talent management messaging including: driving talent reviews, succession planning, and assessment initiatives, managing performance management and objective setting processes, organizational surveys, competency modeling, and career development initiatives. The role reports into Global Talent Management and directly reports to the Head of Global Talent and Learning Development but has a dotted line to the regional office. Under the umbrella of the GTM organization are the additional functions of Performance Management, Talent and Learning Development, Employee Engagement/Experience and Talent Acquisition.
Job Responsibilities
Enable NASDAQ OMX to win in the marketplace by connecting business priorities to our performance and talent requirements. Has the ability to effectively communicate our performance and talent management philosophies to the broader audience. Has a broad understanding of people practices and results to drive company performance.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 5+ years in performance or talent management
• Demonstrated success as a hands-on, contributing member of a team in a performance-driven and fast-moving company
• Experience in the managing global projects
• Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization
• Have a point of view and are able to build credibility and influence immediately
• Able to stay on-task and in-scope in the face of multiple priorities and competing demands
• Nimble and comfortable with change in direction to respond to business needs
• Direct experience communicating and coordinating talent and performance management programs
• Prior experience in managing career planning, performance appraisal processes, workforce planning, succession planning and talent reviews
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Project management skills and tactical implementation skills
• Data analysis and interpretation skills (ability to translate data into conclusions)
• Education: Bachelor?s degree required, with an emphasis on Human Resources Capital
