hela Sverige The European Spallation Source (ESS) will be a multi-disciplinary, large-scale research infrastructure based on the world's most powerful neutron source. ESS will provide scientists with unique and powerful neutron scattering instruments for the study of a large range of materials - from polymers and pharmaceuticals to membranes and molecules.
The ESS project is partnered by 16 European countries, and hosted by Sweden and Denmark. The ESS will be built in Lund, Sweden, by a collaboration of European scientists and engineers. ESS is planned to produce the first neutrons by 2019.
ESS is a fast growing company and the HR function plays a key role in the build up phase. Hence we are now looking for a new colleague, to help establish the Compensation & Benefits area. You will report to the HR Manager. The employment is a temporary position.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include creation of processes, guidelines, tools, training, and procurements etcetera within Compensation & Benefits.
• Procurement of external Compensation & Benefits partner
• Benchmarking & analysis compensation & benefits for researchers and administrative staff
• Compensation models
• Pay policy, structure (Sw: Befattningsvärderingssystem) and salary ranges/grids
• Performance Management and appraisals (cascade business targets, score individual performance etc)
• Total rewards/employer branding
• Process salary revision according to collective agreement
• Job descriptions
The successful candidate
Essential:
• Senior experience within Compensation & Benefits
• Experience from an international institute or company
• Experience from building up policies, processes, guidelines etc
Desirable:
• Lived and worked abroad
• Experience from a fast growing organisation
• Experience from research environment
