IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA retail channels with home furnishing solutions and available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the 400 stores IKEA stores and other multichannel touchpoints around the world with the turnover of 20,5 BEUR. The total range is almost 10,000 products. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.
Right now we are looking for a HR & Competence Manager for two of our support units, Business Steering and Finance & Administration. The Business Steering unit support IKEA Range & Supply with basis for decisions to execute our strategies and achieve our business goals. It consists of about 40 leaders and specialists within Business Analysis, Range Management, Project Management and Business Intelligence. Growth and long term profitability is one of IKEAs key business objectives. Finance & Administration department at IKEA of Sweden has the important role of making sure we are a cost conscious company. It consists of the Finance Controlling & Accounting, Business Administration and Internal Services departments with around 150 leaders and co-workers, with a broad range of competences from specialists to maintenance and logistics co-workers.
About the assignment
As the HR & Competence manager for Business Steering and Finance & Administration you will play a key role in the development of our functions by leading and coaching our leaders and co-workers in the people agenda. Being a strategic partner to the Business Steering Manager and the Finance & Administration Manager you contribute to excellent and sustainable business performance by developing the Business & People agenda from a short and long term perspective. The assignment comprises:
Leading & supporting all HR processes and the competence agenda together with all managers and team leaders.
Defining the competence needs for today and the future, identifying the gaps, establishing action plans as well as implementing and following up.
Coaching and supporting managers to achieve their business and people objectives, both on an operational level as well as a strategic level.
Leading change management projects and assignments together with all managers.
Being part of the Management teams in both units.
Being part of leadership & team development and change management.
Being part of the HR & Competence Manager matrix at IKEA of Sweden.
About you
To be successful in this role we believe you are passionate about people and their development and have a strong foundation in the IKEA Key Values and our culture. You have a strong business mind and have experience in working with a strategic agenda; adding value to strategies and plans by leveraging the competence dimension and having the ability to turn strategies into operational results. Furthermore you have:
Genuine experience in HR & Competence Management tasks and organisational development as well as a true interest in HR operations.
You will interact and work together with a diverse group of people. This requires a capability to build trust, a genuine curiosity, high integrity, strong communication skills and willingness in building strong working relationships.
