As an HR Manager at Volvo Car Engine in Skövde you will report to HR Director and work in close collaboration with HR colleagues and competencies locally and globally to ensure efficient and qualitative delivery and coaching to our customers and business. The objective of the HR function is to provide a comprehensive Human Resource support to the business and lead the development and implementation of effective HR strategies, program/activities and processes to support the achievements of the overall Volvo Car Business Plan. As an HR Manager you will act within the Business Units and serve as an Account Manager, responsible for aligning HR services to global business needs.
Main responsibilities
• Coach and advice the line management on people matters and work cross functionally with support towards the Business Units based on their needs
• Translate business needs and improvement areas into HR requirements and actions
• Lead Volvo Car Group's People Strategy and champion the HR initiatives in the Business Units
• Proactively develop, support and monitor actions linked to improved organisational health and increased performance
• Collaborate within the HR function to secure innovative solutions and efficiency in HR services.
• Lead Business Transformation, primarily focusing on HR strategic activities influencing the business agenda
• Strategically develop Business Unit's Human Capital, work as a Process/Project Manager and create Business cases as well as performing Change Management and coaching
Required qualifications
• University degree within HR, Business Administration or equivalent
• 5 years broad and deep HR experience or related business
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Experience from a partner perspective and working with management teams
• A background in Automotive and/or experience from both white and blue collar employees are meritorious
