The role as HR Manager
The main focus for this position is to develop and manage the HR department at Plasman at the plant located in Arendal, Gothenburg, which is the largest unit in Europe. As a member of the management team you have impact on performance mangement and will contribute to achieve targets of staff and customer satisfaction as well as business efficiency and profitability.
Staffing, recruitment, talent management and promoting Plasman as an attractive employer is a central part of the role. You provide active support to the organisation in labor law, work environment and development of competences and coworkers. With modern systems, tools and processes you will provide high value HR services. Together with an HR Business Partner and an Admin Plant Support you form a service-oriented HR-team. There is also a close cooperation in the team of HR Managers in the other plants in Europe, developing HR processes and sharing best practices that are implemented by the local team.

Your background
We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience as HR Manager or HRBP from manufacturing operations. You have an academic degree in HR or equivalent professional experience and are an experienced leader. In this position you will have the opportunity to drive progress in developing processes and systems solutions. You thrive in an environment with a combination of strategic issues and hands on problem solving, where you give operational support to fellow managers in their everyday life. Proficiency in English and Swedish is requested. Your personal characteristics are described in energy, integrity, cooperation and helpfulness.
