AIESEC-Sverige is looking for a young HR Director, who will drive and optimise the current HR-structure of the organisation. The HR Director will promote and implement human resource values by planning and managing human resources programmes.
The person applying for this position must have extensive knowledge and experience in AIESEC and is preferred to hold an ECOWAS passport as a part of the job will entail facilitation of the National Partnerships with countries such as Ghana, Togo, and Nigeria.
Job Description:
Developing organisational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to organisation strategic thinking and direction; establish human resources objectives in line with organisational objectives.
Implementation of human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention.
Manage human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining volunteers, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing volunteer and staff job contributions, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; i
Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analysing information and applications of potential CEED'ers and exchange participants for our country partners.
Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organisational values.
Facilitate member development though conferences, tracking of local responsible, and local chapter development. Further ensure leadership development through implementation of the LEAD-programme with relevant external partners
Drive the partnerships with our country partners, and create the CEED-programme to ensure high-quality delivery of exchanges for our partners in the ECOWAS countries.
Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Required background:
Organisational experience in AIESEC or relevant organisation
Degree and/or extensive experience in Human Resource and Talent Management within NGOs
Availability from June 1st
Extensive experience in conference creation and agenda management
Fluent in English
Preferred basic in another European Language such as German, Danish, Swedish, Spanish
NB: Start date is from June 1st and the individual selected will be required to go through the migration-processes as required by Swedish law.
