Homologation Department is now looking for an exceptional Homologation Engineer who will be responsible for the Passive Safety regulations and standards. If you are ready for a challenge of a lifetime and be a part of an exciting journey, maybe you are the right person we are looking for!

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the planning, execution, and certification of components and systems to support global Homologation for both new and existing vehicle programs on Passive Safety Regulations and Standards.

- Assisting R&D teams by interpreting regulatory requirements, offering expert opinions on controversial design issues, and justifying decisions to ensure Koenigsegg products are designed to meet global requirements.

- Monitoring running changes and updating type approval/certificates as necessary to maintain compliance.

- Creating Homologation test plans and executing/supporting pre-Homologation and Homologation tests for on time completion.

- Following up the new published or upcoming regulations to be sure about their effects on Koenigsegg vehicles and taking necessary actions.

We expect you to :

- Demonstrate a deep undesrtanding of Global Homologation Processes.
- Have strong expertise of Passive Safety related UN Regulations and F/CMVSS Standards applicable to components/systems/vehicles to conduct your tasks.

- Accurately understand and interpret compplex regulatory requirements, communicate these effectively to internal teams and external authorities.

- Actively collaborate with R&D teams to ensure that current and upcoming passive safety requirements are integrated into the design process.

- Determine appropriate test configurations for worst case scenarios, project detailed test plans and, assist in the scheduling certification tests to ensure compliance.

- Be prepared to both challenge and be challenged on technical matters while executing above-mentioned tasks.

Who are we looking for?

- Proven experience in homologation and compliance for passive safety systems
- Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to testing and certification

- Well organized and structured with the ability to drive things to completion.

- Excelllent communication skills and experience in working with Cross-functional teams.

- Open to self improvement and responsibilities

Requirements:

- BSc. in Mechanical Engineering but Aerospace / Electronics or similar Engineering disciplines are acceptable.

- Minimum 5 years of experience with hands on Automotive Regulations and Standards/Homologation.

- SVM experience is a plus!

- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities

- Solid experience on project management and coordination

- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal / written)

- Ability to work independently within the Homologation Department and within a team if required.

- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the Koenigsegg organization and with external parties.

- Effectively handle multitasking, organize workload, and meet deadlines.

- Willingness to travel and flexible working schedule
