SAS partner business, an extensive eco-system of partner offerings to SAS passengers and EuroBonus members, is vital to SAS profitability and to the value proposition of the SAS EuroBonus program - to make life more rewarding for our Scandinavian member community.

We are looking for a leader for one of the partner sales teams; Head of Travel & Eco-System Partnership, responsible for acquiring, managing and activating a portfolio of EuroBonus and digital sales partnerships within hotel, car rental, retail, restaurant, household and grocery.

We are looking for a solid sales leader, a result driven relationship and team builder - with talent for coaching teams in business development, solutions selling and negotiation. Corious to find new business and ways to activate the end-consumer to engage with partners' offerings - significantly broadening and growing the partner business the coming years.

With team members in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, and partners globally, there will be frequent traveling. The position is placed either at the SAS HQ in Stockholm or at the SAS office in Oslo dependent on the right applicant.

Main Tasks
Lead and coach a team of 4-6 Partner Managers in identifying and assessing new business opportunities, business development, partnership evaluation and commercial negotiations with new and existing partners
Member of the Attached Business & Growth leadership team and meetings
Translate overall targets, partnership and program strategies into actionable sales plans: acquisitions of new, or activation and development of existing, partners
Budget, forecast, report and follow-up on team revenue and activation targets
Work closely with internal key stakeholders; CRM, Marketing, Analytics, EuroBonus program, Digital Sales and Digital Development to drive member conversion and business optimization
Secure effective sales and partnership management with lean standards and processes
Make engaging presentations, clarifying business cases and visualizations of plans
Responsible for a selected portfolio of own partnerships


Managerial responsibilities
Financial: full responsibility for team portfolio, prospect and sales targets within decided budget, negotiation mandate framework and strategies
Full people leadership


Education and skills
University degree, Master of Science, Business or equivalent
Several years of leadership experience
Proven track record of building B2B sales & business development teams
Solid experience from B2B2C solution selling within/to multiple consumer industries
Documented experience from senior role in large new sales and complex commercial negotiations
Strong negotiator and relationship builder
Skillful in Excel and PowerPoint
Verbal and written proficiency in at least one of the Scandinavian languages plus English
