Swedbank's data and AI organization Group Data, Analytics & AI is looking for an experienced leader for its unit Technology Accelerator, responsible to both develop, manage, and operate data infrastructure (including platforms, tools and technologies) as well as lead the data transformation journey for the enterprise-wide modern technology set-up.

We are looking for a leader who: Has a proven track record from senior leadership roles within data, AI and underlying technological infrastructure, possesses strong leadership skills, can guide and inspire a diverse team within an agile setup and has extensive experience from doing so in large and complex organisations.
Holds a strategic mindset with a long-term focus on roadmap while ensuring high quality and optimised day-to-day deliveries.
Encourages best efforts, motivates team members and helps them reach their full potential.
Makes brave decisions, isn't afraid to try new things, acknowledges mistakes, and learns from them.
Builds trust within the team as well as colleagues and stakeholders around Swedbank as well as external partners.
What will be your daily work in this role: Owning and ensuring transformation initiatives related to Swedbank's Data & AI platform modernization journey that is part of the bank's group wide data transformation.
Accountable for the continuous deliveries across agile release trains providing flexible and resilient infrastructure and technology that enables delivery of Regulatory, BI, AI and IT services to stakeholders while ensuring operational efficiency.
Build, mentor and manage a high-performing team of technology professionals while ensuring clear responsibilities and priorities within the team.
Ensuring the continuous development of your team and your own leadership skills.
Building a diverse team with high level of team spirit and engagement.
Engage and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders across various units to understand their needs, inform and align Data & AI technology roadmap, and further ensure effective integration and utilization of platform and tools.
Driving improvement, process optimisation and performance across your teams.
Leading and encouraging collaboration across the organisation.
Building your unit to be an efficient and successful organisation.

What are the qualifications needed for the role: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
Minimum 10 years' experience in IT infrastructure management or related field; at least 5 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
Experience from IT delivery for infrastructure services as well as developing, maintaining, and operating platform services.
Experience with agile development methodologies such as DevOps and MLOps to enable data and AI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
