Poolia Finance and Accounting are now looking for the next head of operations and consumer controlling for a big company situated in Kista. This job is a consultancy assignment of 520 hours. Estimated starting date of the assignment is at the end of august.
Finance leadership team role. Lead the business control teams working with the Commercial Consumer unit and all operational units. Key driver of the Consumer strategy as well as the Challenger Cost Structure strategy.
We press the importance of experienced leadership including analytical thinking, clear communication with ability to create understanding for purpose and strategy. Also advanced knowledge in financial acquis and terminology. 60 % strategy and 40% operational work.
Candidates must be fluent in both English and Swedish.
Arbetsuppgifter
Functional responsibilities
• Secure control, provide proactive support, increase efficiency and ensure governance in financial matters to the Consumer unit and all operational units.
• Responsible for monthly closing and reporting as well as forecasting for the Consumer segment and all operational units. Functional cost responsibility for:
o Revenues
o Sales and Customer Service costs
o Marketing cost
o Network and IT costs
o Resource costs
o Capex
• Overall EBITDA responsibility for Consumer
• Improve cost efficiency within the operational units
• Key stakeholder towards Shared Operations
Managerial responsibilities
• Lead and develop the controlling teams (coaching, task management)
• Secure staffing (recruitment, retention)
Overall strategic responsibilities
• Head of Operations & Consumer Controlling is a member of FLT and as such joint responsible for the Winning People & Culture strategic initiative within the Finance department
• Key driver of Consumer's strategic direction as well as the Challenger Cost Structure initiative
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Skills and Experiences
• ~10 years experience from Business Control, management consulting or similar
• Strong leadership skills, preferably with experience in leading managers
• Strong interest in understanding the underlying drivers of the business
• Used to presenting financial results to senior executives
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
