We are now looking for an experienced learning technologist with a passion for innovation who can lead the function on all learning technologies. Evolving our technology architecture through the development of technology roadmaps. Exploring and identifying the key emerging trends in new technologies for all aspects of learning. Evaluating these new technologies and how they supply and fit within the learning ecosystem. Working with Learning Professionals, Group IT and directly with the business to design, develop and deploy these learning technologies. Owning the learning innovation activity by marketing, project managing and developing innovative learning solutions that inspire people to learn in Ericsson through new techniques such as augmented and virtual reality. Solving complex technical problems involving all types of learning technologies.
You will
Lead the development and updating of the learning technology architecture creating the roadmap necessary to achieve a quest for easy learning technology ecosystem.
Provide technical insight and leadership on technical direction as the key learning technologist supporting both the Chief Learning Officer and Head of Ecosystem.
Continuously benchmark and evaluate the capabilities of our technology architecture against what is available in the external marketplace with a deep understanding of the overall learning technology stack. Create the necessary technology roadmaps to deliver future improvements to the learning tech ecosystem.
Evaluate emerging learning technologies and gaps in our existing technology architecture, identifying the benefits and value offered by additional platforms and technologies. Implement experiments to demonstrate the value with clear critical metrics.
Lead the strategic innovation program "Learning Next" through effective internal marketing, program management and technical steering. Manage and support a number of use cases and experiments utilising new learning delivery technologies such as virtual and augmented reality.
Collaborate with L&D teams to identify learning use cases that can benefit from Immersive technologies, provide Technology consulting, support in implementation and be the IT eye to secure Ericsson IT support and security.
Co-ordinate Learning Next development work by collaborating with Ericsson Learning Services, external suppliers and other key groups around Ericsson including IT Immersive services.
Problem solves serious technical issues within the technology ecosystem.
To be successful in the role you must have
Education: A bachelor degree in Computer Science
Min of 5 years working with learning technologies which should include as many as possible of the following learning platforms: LMS, LRS, Digital Adoption, assessment & delivery tools, LXPs, program delivery and micro / adaptive learning
Deep knowledge and understanding of market trends in the area of learning technologies - both platforms and delivery tools.
Demonstrated success in designing and developing learning solutions in collaboration with experience designers
Proven success of working with projects in virtual, augmented reality and artificial intelligence
You will need experience in working and driving SME projects and the ability to connect with a diverse group of partners
Ability to lead and motivate successful project teams
Deep Knowledge and understanding of market trends and confirmed practices in the area of learning technologies
Global attitude and ability to make things happen in a matrixed organization
Understanding of learning program design and processes
Presenting and communicating information
Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools
