Assisting Head of the Development, Strategists, Producers, and the wider team to scope new projects and come up with suitable solutions
Working with Producers/Project Managers to create accurate and realistic cost estimates, timing plans, test plans, and technical specification documents for all related projects
Providing guidance and advice on the use of new or current technologies to internal clients
Maintaining contact with key suppliers, customers, and industry associations to support business objectives
Assisting in the integration of technical and application based components to meet business requirements
Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
At least 10 years of experience within technology
Web front end senior level experience for business critical systems
Proven Project Management experience
Work experience with internal open source models
Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers internally and externally
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Excellent teamwork skills
Fluent language skills in written and spoken English
Nasdaq is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable hands on Head of Front End Development to manage a team of Front End Engineers. The role will entail working closely with Product Managers and Solution Architects to ensure that this cutting edge product continues to perform and evolve to industry leading standards.
You will empower your team to innovate and experiment when solving important problems in order to deliver enabling solutions that make business life easier. You will lead by example by defining and implementing high coding standards across the team using leading edge and the latest technologies.
This role is ideally suited to an individual either already in a management position or looking to take this next step in their career, you should have a proactive approach to work with the desire to lead an enthusiastic and talented front end team and communicate and influence stakeholders at different level within organization in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
