All about the role:
This position is location-free across Europe.
As Head of Business Performance BA EA you will have the overall responsibility of the strategic interface between Commercial Areas and Central IT for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. You will facilitate the digital transformation and head up a team of IT professionals focused on the IT needs for BA EA CAs.
Head of Business Performance BA EA provides highly valued strategic consulting level, support and guidance through key IT initiatives and is the primary IT point of contact to Executives and Managers within BA EA CAs.
Success in the position requires innovative thinking and delivering new ideas that add value to our Customers and Consumers. You are constantly challenging the status quo, driving continuous improvement and striving for a visible, measurable benefit from every action.
You will report to CIO BA EA and be a key member of BA EA IT Leadership Team.
What you'll do:
Drive the strategic direction of the Business Performance team to enable business value delivery through technology, with focus on modernization, transformation & productivity.
Be a business partner to senior stakeholders in Commercial Areas and ensure alignment between business needs and IT strategy.
Lead the Business Performance team for successful delivery of agreed objectives and set it up for continued success, including long-term workforce planning & capabilities development.
Coach & mentor the team members, driving empowerment and accountability for delivering results and enabling business value.
Ensure a secure, reliable, available, compliant and cost-effective local IT infrastructure/solutions, when applicable.
Assume full budget responsibility for Business Performance function within IT BA EA and overall IT local budget.
Manage senior business stakeholder expectations in a timely and clear fashion.
Deliver cost and resource estimates for new local projects and business initiatives.
Review and approve project deliverables and functions in project Steering Groups and governance forums.
Who you are:
8+ years of relevant leadership experience within IT and business/industry
Strong business acumen.
Experience from driving digital transformation across organization.
Demonstrated experience in managing relationships and engaging business executives and other stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership skills and proven track record of building high-performing, cross collaborating teams and developing talents.
Proven track record of managing global and regional context with an ability to implement best practices locally.
Ability to use initiative and able to apply multiple solutions to business problems.
Strong planning, communication and presentation skills.
University degree in Business administration, IT or related field.
Interest to work in an international environment and willingness to travel as required.
