As Hardware Verification Engineer you will strengthen our team of 20 skilled co-workers. We develop advanced electronics for HVDC:s control and protection System - from idea to final product including verification and validation. Your mission will be to perform unit verification and environmental testing, which is mainly based on Standard IEC 61000-6-5. Another important part of your work will be to make test reports. To succeed you need to have experience from electrical verification or/and testing and as part of this you have been working with environmental testing within the following areas:
• Climate testing including cold, dry heat and damp heat.
• EMC testing including surge, fast transient/burst and Radio frequency electromagnetic field.
• Mechanical testing including seismic, vibration and mechanical chock.

Since all of our documentation is done in Word and/or Excel, you also need solid knowledge of MS Office. Experience from Hidraw, Matlab and/or Labview is a merit.

Currently you may work in a testlab or/and work as an electronics designer, testing similar products on a regular basis. Furthermore, you need to be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. With your sound judgment it is natural for you to focus on reliability, results and execution. Lastly, you are a team player who thrives in a role where you can contribute with your collaborative and communicative skills and inspire your team to reach set goals.

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
