We are looking for a Hardware Designer with experience from electrical and mechatronic development. The group is responsible for system design, hardware development and software development of e.g. switches, control units and interior light. We establish the requirements for functions, systems and components within our technical area. We are responsible for the systems and components in all car programs and over the entire life cycle. The work includes many international contacts and is done in cooperation with international suppliers.

Main responsibilities

• You will have the general responsibility for technical development and strategies for all switches
• You will make sure that the components are correctly verified internally and by supplier
• Your work will be done in teams consisting of system designer, software- and hardware designer task leader and test engineers
• You will continuously be in contact with HMI (Human Machine Interface) and Styling to secure surface and design for switches. You will also have technical discussions regarding all electrical demands e.g. environment, electrical performance, EMC as well as create specifications and develop components together with internal colleagues and suppliers

Required qualifications

• MSc in Electronics of related field
• 2-3 years of working experience within electrical design
• Mechatronic experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of plastics is meritorious
